Gettysburg National Cemetery & Soldier's Cemetery - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

The three-day Battle of Gettysburg is often cited as the turning point of the Civil War. There are many monuments throughout Gettysburg that commemorate both Union & Confederate troops who fought and died here.

The Cemetery's dedication was held on November 19, 1863 and is the site of President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. The Gettysburg National Cemetery is the final resting place of 3,500 Union Soldiers who were killed during the Battle of Gettysburg.

The Cemetery and the Battlefield form the Gettysburg National Military Park.
